On Satan and Spiritual Evil

Resolved, That it be as upheld as follows:

Satan is a real and live actor in the world. His evil actions are not epiphenomenal.

People do not do bad deeds merely because they are coincidentally or distantly fond of the Devil. The Devil is the principal motivator of evil. He causes people to do bad things, and people do evil on his behalf, having been either knowingly or negligently led down that path by him directly.

Satan leads people down bad paths, after which people may choose to listen, making a poor decision. He is not a puppet master and cannot force or compel obedience, but only achieves it through people heeding his bad spirits.

The primal evil observable in the world, materially connected to the loss of the traditional family, is the direct work of Satan. These acts must be warned of and denounced.
