Appointment and Selection of the Founding Father
The Founding Father
EFFECTS
this Resolution
On the Appointment and Selection of the Founding Father.
God shall appoint the Founding Father; and he shall be confirmed by the Convention of Fathers. When God appoints a Founding Father, He shall select a man who is eminently qualified and present him for appointment to the Convention. The Convention at such time shall either, through the Acting Founding Father, confirm His appointment, through the consent of the Acting Founding Father and the Convention, confirm His appointment, or through the unanimous consent of the Convention of Fathers, and, after forty days, not having been vetoed by the Acting Founding Father, have selected the Founding Father.
The present Founding Father is His Majesty, by the grace of God, Dillon B. Carey.
The Founding Father serves during good behavior; and once appointed, may only be removed by God.
